I’m digging into the archives for this shot. From last night here’s a long exposure of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. My plan for today was to get a shot of my family out the outdoor skating rink tonight, but with the temperature being 9F with a strong west wind that shot will wait for another day.

Beautiful, did you set a custom white balance for this?
I haven’t gotten that far into the settings on the camera yet. Still learning. I’ll have to check out what sort of results doing so will get. Thanks for the comment.
The white balance is pretty good then, as the snow on top of the ice looks clean. This could be down to the lights that are in that area. Just out of interest do you know how long the exposure was?
From memory I believe it was a 3 second exposure.
