I used an iPhone app to create the tilt shift effect; not the most convincing tilt shift I’ve seen, but to be done with a mobile app it is pretty good. Good tilt shifts come from taking a shot from an elevated distance; if the bridge deck were another 20 feet higher perhaps the shot would be more convincing.

Great shot, what tilt shift app did you use?
A tip for when you try it again, try to have a slice in focus all the way across the image and maybe stand nearer the middle of the bridge looking down the tracks more. Nice one : )

thank you, the tilt shift app resulted in a cheap looking effect, I learned a lesson with that shot, ‘don’t fall into gimmicky cliches’.
