Day 115: crocus versus glacier

The crocus is a pretty insignificant flower; however, I truly appreciate them for being the first flowers to emerge in the spring. This one barely waited for the glacier-esque snow bank to recede before it unfurled it’s pedals. If you’re in a northern climate and are looking at as much nothingness in your gardens as I am plant some crocus bulbs in the fall. They flower out a good two weeks before tulips.
