I had some time to kill in White Bear Lake, Minnesota today so I took a stroll.
Washington Square is a nice gathering place.
The city is one of the few suburbs and St. Paul and Minneapolis that has a little history.
There’s a main street feel, common places to gather and an incredible shrinking lake. I had read all about how much the lake has been receding but until I saw it today I had no idea how drastic the change has been.
As an aside, if you have seen the movie Fargo and think you don’t know White Bear Lake think again.
